There are two very easy methods to remove a wine stain, using either white wine or vodka.

2. For the white wine method: pour white wine all over the stained area. Blot and repeat if necessary. Cover the stain in a thick baking soda paste and leave for a few hours, then wash item as normal, following the care guidelines on the label.
